The best technical decision is the one that moves the company forward. I always ask what the business needs before I ask how to build it.

Ship to learn, not to launch

Real feedback only comes from real users. I get something in front of people early, watch what they do, and iterate on evidence, not assumptions.

Ownership compounds

The best engineers take responsibility for outcomes, not tickets. I hire for that mindset and hold myself to it first.

Simplicity is a product decision

Every feature that doesn't need to exist is a debt the team carries forever. I cut ruthlessly. Simple products beat complex ones every time.
